Paul Russell and Company

Our Sales Department

The proficiency, integrity, and philosophy of satisfying the client exemplified by our maintenance, preservation, and restoration work has been applied to the sales endeavors at Paul Russell and Company.

Sales Manager Alex Finigan is the consummate car guy. He has been here since opening day in 1978, spending the first decade as a restoration mechanic. His innate fascination with and extensive knowledge of all things automotive makes him the natural choice to assist those who wish to avoid the many pitfalls encountered in finding, evaluating, and negotiating the purchase or sale of classic cars.

There is a tremendous amount to know and to keep pace with in the collector car market. Alex's marketplace savvy, plus his technical knowledge and resources within the larger car network, can be of invaluable help. The benefits you receive from his services more than cover the modest fees.

Consideration must be given to your individual desires and limitations in order to help you meet your goal from both a quality and a cost standpoint. There is a vast difference between a good street car, a suitable restoration candidate, and a wonderfully preserved original. Sometimes our most valuable advice is the recommendation to not purchase a particular car. We are more interested in building long-term relationships than in handling single sales.

Alex has handled the acquisition or sale of many of the great classics, including the Mercedes-Benz SS and 540K Special Roadster, plus the 300 SL, 300 S and SC; the Ferrari 275, 166, and California Spyder; Porsche Spyder and Speedster; Jaguar D-Type; and the BMW 507, to name just a few.

For assistance with finding or selling your classic car, contact Alex Finigan by phone at 978.768.6092 or via .

“What I like about Alex is that there is never a hidden agenda; he won't try to talk you into a car that benefits him rather than you. His enthusiasm is another plus along with his wide knowledge of collectible cars and multiple contacts within the field.”
