While we are known mostly for our restoration work, we are equally proud of the cars we preserve. Honoring the patina of a classic car is a path that we feel should be seriously considered when possible. Shown here is a wonderfully original 1963 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster. Unrestored but properly maintained by us, and repainted due only to minor body damage, this is simply a great car.
Frank and Beverly Spellman have been enjoying the use of this car for decades, both at concours events and on road rallies, usually fully accessorized. Most recently, they showed it at the St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Dr. Spellman writes “We won best in ‘Post War Open Sports Cars’ class … Put the original whitewalls on for the event.” We think the old girl looks spectacular.
