Two clients, three company members, and four cars – all participants in the Tour, and winners at this year’s Concours d’Elegance.
Postwar Custom Citroën was one of the special classes, a marque we do not service. Then a long-term client asked us to support his endeavor to get three of his cars onto the field for this special event. It seems as though our efforts were appreciated, as all three of the Citroëns drove up onto the ramp for an award.

The lovely red 1957 Ferrari 250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolet Series 1 was very well received when first debuted at the 2018 Cavallino Classic. On the field in Monterey, it was judged to be First in Class, amidst a very competitive group of Ferrari Grand Touring cars. The happy car owner is a returning entrant at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Eegance and, after receiving this award, was heard to say “…this never gets old!”.
One of the “5 Top Performers at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance” per the Robb Report, they exclaimed:
“There were several gorgeous examples of Ferrari’s iconic 250 GT at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, but this car was stunning enough to win its class in the Ferrari Grand Touring category. The 250 GT Cabriolet, bodied by Pinin Farina, was Ferrari’s first convertible, with only about 30 “Series 1” models produced between 1957 and the end of 1962. They feature tubular steel frames and are powered by Ferrari’s 3-liter V-12. The example honored was first owned by wealthy playboy and amateur racer Porfirio Rubirosa, who was also the fifth ex-husband of Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton.”
